We now have a Litedeck stage available for hire. The staging comes in 8' by 4' sections and locks together to form a larger area. It is £25.00+ vat to hire per 8' by 4' section plus the delivery and setup charge which depends on where the venue is and on venue access.
We can supply any area and size of stage from 8' by 4' to 80' by 40' and above. We can supply heights of 1', 2', 3' and 4' and higher if needed. Any stage above 4' will need to be securely braced so a separate quotation would need to be generated for this. We are also able to supply a range of awnings to cover the stage along with steps, handrails and side rails for security and ease of access. We also have a large range of staging accessories such as adjustable legs and skirting trim.
Litedeck modular staging system is rapidly becoming the industry standard staging system for the entertainment, conference and set building markets. It's comparative low weight and varied range of shapes coupled with the unique top lock system makes this decking a designer's favourite. The toplock system allows one twist of an allen key to securely lock or unlock this staging, reducing the time spent on build and crawling under staging to secure nuts and bolts.
The Litedeck system is designed to comply with latest codes of practice and design standards. It is fully compliant with the IStructE 'temporary demountable structures' - guide on design, procurement and use - 2nd edition march 1999. When used in conjunction with the leg frames and bracing, the stage can carry a load of 5kn/m2.
We now have a large quantity of 8' by 2' decks which can be used for bars and tables at events as well as sections of 4' by 2' and sections of 4' by 4' decks.

Technical Information
Litestructures Stage decking System is manufactured from high tensile Aluminium Alloy grade 6082T6. The material has a 0.2% proof stress of 225MN/m2. The sections are extruded and comply with BSEN755-2.
The decking frame is constructed through the TIG welding process and is carried out in accordance to specifications laid out in BS3019: part 1: Specification for TIG welding of Aluminium by welders certified to BS:EN:287-2: Approval testing of Welders for Fusion Welding – part 2: Aluminium and it’s Alloys.
The deck is made from 19mm standard grade plywood similar to that used on truck platforms. It has a high resistance to point loads and can carry the loads associated with staging.
A set of calculations are available which show that Litedeck exceeds BS6399: part1: 1996: Code of Practice for Dead and Imposed Loads. The calculations are performed to comply with BS8118:1991: Structural Use of Aluminium and BS5268: Structural Use of Timber : part 2: Code of Practice for Permissible Stress Design, Materials, Workmanship 1984. The staging system as a whole will erect to comply with the IStructE ‘Temporary Demountable Structures – Guide on design, procurement & use – 2nd Edition March1999’
