Madonna Exhibition At The Truman Brewery-Brick Lane

A brand new Madonna exhibition comes to London in 2009 bringing a great selection of the musical diva's costume and personal affects to the Old Truman Brewery. Entitled Simply Madonna, the Madonna exhibition London location is sure to mean that thousands upon thousands of her fans make the journey to the east of the city to pay homage to their beloved pop queen.

Sound-Services will be providing staging, sound equipment, lighting, trussing and projectors for the event as well as engineers to look after the equipment for the duration ofr the event which goes on for over a month.

Simply Madonna
More than 300 items are due to go on show at the Madonna exhibition London event with some of her most famous outfits being the highlights of the collection. A whole host of items from her wardrobe will no doubt be a major pull for many of her fans and for those that have a love of fashion.

Material Girl
Having celebrated her 50th birthday in August 2008, Madonna has embarked upon a huge world tour to promote her new album, Hard Candy. Bringing together her amazing wardrobe collection and some fascinating personal items, the Madonna exhibition is a chance to get up close and personal with the queen of pop.

A life in clothes
From the early days of her music career to the filmwork of the nineties, Simply Madonna takes you through her career and tells the story of her life through some amazing artefacts. Sure to be a highlight of the exhibition, the stunning pink dress worn by Madonna in the Material Girl video will no doubt have many admirers. Along with this Marilyn Monroe style outfit, you can also see the black and gold tasselled bustier worn by Madonna in the Open Your Heart video, and clothes from the American Pie single, in which the singer appeared with actor Rupert Everett.

Film costumes
Film costumes are also taking a starring role in the Madonna exhibition, charting Madonna's rise from pop singer to actress and film star too. 30 dresses from the award winning Evita make up a large part of the Simply Madonna exhibition London show, with the wedding dress being one of the most noteable items. More items from films, such as props and photographs, along with interactive and digital displays create an exciting and electric atmosphere, worthy of one of the most famous singers and performers in the world.

The Madonna exhibition, Simply Madonna, is on show at the Old Truman Brewery from Saturday 21st February to Sunday 22nd March 2009.
